I still havent caught on to the online dating thing or the real life dating thing but my hair is here to prove otherwise. Everyone constantly asks me what's up with my natural hair especially men. I must admit my hair is my biggest insecurity and I'm a tad obsessed with it...hence...the HAIR BLOG lol. I'm just not comfortable with it so I opt-in to other alternatives such as weaves and wigs featured on this HAIR BLOG. But I really would love to rock my natural hair so I've tried so many ways to grow it out and have failed miserably. After I took out my last weave I got out of the shower disappointed by how bad and damaged it looked. The tv was on and I swear on a stack of notebooks that this hair growth commercial came on as soon as the thought of me getting serious about growing my hair ran through my brain. Its called Keranique. and let me tell you I am skeptical of these kinds of things but in my desperation to be free and just wear my own hair I got suckered

This blog is for the working moms, the women on the go, that doesnt have time for hair maintenance but likes to try different styles. This is also for the women that just rather not deal with their own hair, but doesnt want to commit to one style by getting a weave! Its called the 3/4 wig! These babies are simple and almost maintenace frEe and provide the flexibility of changing hair styles. Our hair model this week is Aja. She is a working mom with lots of hair but doesnt have time for all that it takes to maintain just one hairstyle. She also didnt want a weave so she opt-d into the 3/4 wig.... Technique: S ection parts of your hair that you're going to leave out to blend with the wig. The rest of your hair can be braided into cornrows or a bee-hive to keep the hair under the wig flat. Aja wanted a very low maintenance hairstyle so she had me braid her edges too! No pressing, or waxing...just virtually shake and go. By braiding her edges we made the 3/4 wig two d

Full Head or DIE (laughing)!: Avoid the Mullet look with These Techniques

Rocking the curly hair look is all in the technique. In my opinion this style HAS to be worn as a full head weave unless, your hair texture is the same as the actual extenstions you're going to be wearing. Actually this should be the rule of thumb for anytime you're opting into extenstions. One of my biggest pet peeves is mixing that beautiful indian hair with unpressed edges! ARGH! Anywho, if you've read any of my previous blogs you know I love big full hair and honestly the more hair added to this style the more natural it looks. I typically rock shorter curls but wanted to go longer this time. I was afraid of looking like rick james, and or having a mullet. When putting this hair in I learned a valuable lesson: to have layers you must use an EQUAL amount of short and long hair. Otherwise you'll end up having the mullet look. I tried a new hair this time. Its by Zury its called Idol New Deep Wave. I used a 14 inch on bottom and 12 inch on top. Color 1 rather than
