Things I can't live without -read to the end and enter to win

Hey HairyKats,

Its about that time again for the list of things I have discovered and absolutely cannot live without. Besides consistent hugs from my son, God's forgiveness, and my mother's love, the list of things below are pertinent to my happiness and functioning about in the world!

1. Brow Wiz by Anastasia Beverly Hills - $21 (double sided, brow brush and pencil)- My eyebrows grow very strange so I need a little help. I've officially graduated from the old school Maybelline pencils; you know the two pack of pencils? They come in red? lol Anywho, I've upgraded and I've been trying to contour my brows. My only issue is that I rub my face so much and it comes off my face pretty easily. I've been having to carry it with me in my purse. So if you see me out looking half- angry, half- inquisitive just remind me to re-apply. http://www.sephora.com/brow-wiz-P202633?skuId=1056084

2. La Vie Esta Belle by Lancome -$25-$98 I was searching for Flowerbomb by Viktor and Rolf when I discovered this similar sweet smelling perfume for 1/2 the cost of Flowerbomb. I love the scent of this perfume. I spend most of my mornings sniffing myself....j/k....kind of lol If you like flowery, sweet, elegant perfume, I'd give this one a whiff! http://www.sephora.com/la-vie-est-belle-P375939?skuId=1459999

3. Bath and Bodyworks Wallflowers -$6 I am crazy about creating an atmosphere no matter where I am and it all starts with smell for me. I love Bath and Bodyworks Wallflowers. My favorite is Mango Coconut which I've only been able to find in the stores. I wait until they're on sell and buy 6 at a time. They last for about a month. I like these better than GLADE plug-ins. The scents are stronger. I can smell wallflowers outside my apartment window before I open my front door (there's one in my living room) http://www.bathandbodyworks.com/category/index.jsp?categoryId=22937806&cm_sp=LN-_-Home+%26+Candles-_-Wallflowers+Refills%3A+6+for+%2424&cp=12586994.12936203

4. Big Lots - Everyday Reflections Candles -$4 -$6 As noted above lol I'm insane about scents and I absolutely cannot live without Pineapple Sage candles from Big Lots. They are by far my favorite. I've made trips to Big Lots and have left with a basket full of their entire supply of Pineapple Sage candles. The price is unbeatable and they smell absolutely amazing. I'm obsessed. http://www.biglots.com/p/everyday-reflections-two-wick-jar-candles

5. Canton Kitchen in Inglewood-located at 402 W. Manchester Blvd they have thee freshest "fast food" you've ever tasted and the portion sizes are ridiculous. This place is probably the best kept secret in Inglewood. They've been around for years and they still maintain the integrity of their food and customer service. They also have made-to-order dishes, but the hot plate foods are pretty satisfying. For 6 dollars a plate, you can't go wrong. If you want to know my favorite just walk in the place with me and the nice lady behind the counter will yell it out : medium shrimp fried rice, with a pack of spicy mustard LOL! My son loves the chow fun and orange chicken, and my mother loves the string bean chicken. When we're sick, wor wonton soup from Canton is our go to, and please, please , please don't forget the big pork eggroll with sweet and sour sauce!

6. Self-Help/Spiritually Enlightening Books I don't know if this is what happens at 30 or what I'm obsessed with discovering the deeper meanings to life and what it means to be spiritual being having a human experience. My favorite titles thus far have been Jesus-Deepak Chopra , You are Here by Thich Nhat Hahn, and The Magic by Rhonda Bynes

7. Coconut Oil  I swear by this stuff and put it on everything. In my head is an essential to function in life.My favorite brand is Sprouts. I have a jar for my skin and I've recently been using it in my smoothies, so there's a jar for the kitchen as well. It can become a little costly, but all the benefits of coconut oil seem worth all the lathering or oil on yourself.

8. Walgreens Photo Processing - I got to Walgreens for anything that requires photo printing and they almost always have a coupon code. I just made a photobook for my son and printed over 200 pictures for only about $25 dollars. That's a steal if you ask me, especially since no one prints pictures anymore.

9. Inglewood Tires - Everyone needs a mechanic that's authentic. I've been going to Inglewood Tires for years and let me tell you, I never feel like I'm being taken advantage of. Their hours kind of suck. They don't open until 8 am and they close early on weekends but I get it, their a family business. If I need immediate work done they'll let me know. If its something that can wait, they'll tell me that too. They're so honest. I've never felt as secure taking my car somewhere as I do with Inglewood Tires. Its called Inglewood Tires but they are full service. They're located at 635 S. La Brea Avenue (310) 673-1181

10. Gomo's Fish Market- I'm a frequent eater here. You have to get over the aesthetics of the place and focus on the food. The food is made to order and is always fresh. The prices are reasonable. I love this place. I always get the Fried Tilapia Dinner, double fries, but their hush puppies are pretty delicious too! I've ordered family catered meals here too. Takes about 10 minutes for your food to be ready! I'm sure I go at least once a week ( don't tell my Doc).
